vCloudPoint là thiết bị zero client chạy dựa trên máy chủ vật lý.Vì vậy việc xây dựng máy chủ (Server) rất quan trọng nhằm đáp ứng user và yêu cầu công việc của họ.

Dưới đây sẽ là một số hướng dẫn cách xây dựng một máy chủ vật lý hoàn chỉnh phù hợp với từng số lượng user.

Lưu ý: Cấu hình dưới đây chỉ là cấu hình tham khảo theo khuyến cáo của nhà sản xuất,IT cần nắm rõ nhu cầu của user khi bắt đầu đưa vào triển khai.

1. Hệ điều hành:​

Ứng dụng vMatrix Server manager cần để chạy thiết bị vCloudPoint phù hợp với các hệ điều hành sau đây:

1. Microsoft Windows XP SP3 Pro 32-bit (excluding Home Basic)
2. Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit & 64-bit (excluding Home Basic)

2. Hardware:​

Dưới đây là hướng dẫn sơ bộ giúp các quản trị viên có cơ sở để ước tính và kiểm tra cấu hình phần cứng của hệ thống máy chủ lưu trữ đã lựa chọn. vCloudPoint khuyến nghị bạn nên tiến hành kiểm tra kỹ lưỡng môi trường thực tế trước khi triển khai, nhằm đảm bảo hệ thống đáp ứng đầy đủ các yêu cầu và kỳ vọng của bạn.

CPU	2.5 users per thread/core of a 3.6GHz, 22nm,1150 pin CPU (e.g.: i7-4790)
Memory	1.5GB per task user running office, browser, messenger, video on VLC player, etc.
	4GB per power user running Photoshop, Illustrator, Auto-CAD, etc.
Storage	SSD for system and program files + HDD for user data; Storage size to be determined by actual needs.
Network	Average 15Mbps per user within LAN (a single users may consume up to 30Mbps).

Luôn dự trữ nhiều tài nguyên hơn cho máy chủ lưu trữ, ví dụ: bộ nhớ RAM 32GB để lưu trữ 20 người dùng nhiệm vụ = 1.5GB RAM
Chú thích: Mỗi người dùng * 20 người dùng + thêm 2 GB cho chính máy chủ.
Phân tích cho thấy mức tiêu thụ tài nguyên trung bình của người dùng khi làm việc đồng thời với độ phân giải màn hình 1366 x 768. Tuy nhiên, cần lưu ý rằng việc sử dụng tài nguyên có thể thay đổi tùy thuộc vào độ phân giải màn hình và thói quen sử dụng của từng nhóm người dùng.

3. Cấu hình khuyến nghị cho từng số lượng user.​

Lưu ý: Cấu hình dưới đây chỉ là tối thiểu ( minium) người quản trị cần nắm rõ thông tin sử dụng trung bình của những người dùng đó tại một máy để có thể xây dựng máy chủ vật lý chính xác và hiệu quả hơn.
