NAS gi\u00fap t\u1ea1o ra m\u1ed9t kh\u00f4ng gian l\u01b0u tr\u1eef chung, linh ho\u1ea1t v\u00e0 d\u1ec5 qu\u1ea3n l\u00fd, n\u01a1i c\u00e1c m\u00e1y ch\u1ee7 c\u00f3 th\u1ec3 chia s\u1ebb v\u00e0 truy c\u1eadp d\u1eef li\u1ec7u m\u1ed9t c\u00e1ch hi\u1ec7u qu\u1ea3. C\u00f3 hai lo\u1ea1i protocol ch\u00ednh trong h\u1ec7 th\u1ed1ng SAN l\u00e0 Fiber Channel v\u00e0 iSCSI, m\u1ed7i c\u00e1i mang l\u1ea1i nh\u1eefng l\u1ee3i \u00edch ri\u00eang bi\u1ec7t. M\u1eb7c d\u00f9 chi ph\u00ed tri\u1ec3n khai h\u1ec7 th\u1ed1ng SAN c\u00f3 th\u1ec3 cao v\u00ec s\u1eed d\u1ee5ng c\u00e1c thi\u1ebft b\u1ecb nh\u01b0 Fiber Channel Networking v\u00e0 Fiber Channel Switch.
